About the Author
Dr. Anne M. Moll serves as an innovative Associate
Professor at Bellarmine University
in Louisville, Kentucky. In 1996, she had pioneered a cutting edge teacher
preparation education program that promotes inclusive education as a
professional and ethical responsibility for all teachers and
administrators. All elementary and middle school pre-service teachers are
required to complete certification in both general and special
education, thus ensuring that they are fully prepared for serving all
children.
In addition to her work at the university, Dr. Moll works
on a national level with schools and districts in the development and
implementation of collaborative teaching practices and research-based
differentiated instruction and assessment which supports access to the
general curriculum for all children.
Dr. Moll has more than 28 years of experience serving
individuals who learn differently, including those with disabilities, as
well as 18 years of experience providing direct training to current
teachers, administrators, parents and teachers and pre-profession educators,
graduate and bachelor level students.
Firmly committed to ensuring that students have
access to the general education curriculum, Dr. Moll conducts action
research on differentiated instructional design using research-based
methods and the impact on student
performance. Her book, Differentiated
Instruction Guide for Inclusive Teaching describes her research and
offers a practical, research-based method for designing and implementing
differentiated instruction to ensure student success. For a list of other
